Costa Del Mar Fantail in Realtree Camo with Blue Mirror 580P Lenses
[dropcap]I[/dropcap] started wearing the Costa Del Mar Fantails this summer and have been really enjoying them. While I am usually a glass lens guy, I have been impressed with their 580P poly-carbonate lenses. They are lightweight and offer me crisp and clear vision on bright days on the water. I have used them both flats fishing and in deeper water scenarios and have found them comfortable and technically up to the challenges of cutting glare and seeing fish and hazards clearly on the water.

Costa’s Fantail frames feature an attractive square design with a Medium fit. Manufactured using a co-injected nylon frame that provides durability, they are designed to withstand prolonged use in outdoor conditions. The low-profile integral stainless steel hinges resist corrosion and keep their shape with heavy use. As well, they integrate wire core temples to provide stability and durability throughout the entire frame. A cool feature of the Fantail frame is the Hydrolite™ lining along the entire interior. The rubber lining helps keep the sunglasses from in place when things get sweaty or you are bouncing around in big water.
Lifetime Warranty
As with all Costa Del Mar Sunglasses, the Fantail model is backed by Costa’s Lifetime Warranty. The warranty does not include wear and tear due to normal use, scratched lenses, broken hinges, or accidental damage; however, they will repair those types of issues for a nominal fee. The warranty does cover manufacturing defects.
