[dropcap]C[/dropcap]zech nymphing is an approach to trout fishing that has grown in popularity because it works. Would I prefer to drift dry flies all day? Perhaps, but with so many fish feeding under the surface, I’d be limiting my chances by doing so. Bann Valley Flies shows you why Czech nymphing is a productive method in this short video.

“Fly fishing for brown trout and Atlantic salmon in Ireland. Czech nymphing the River Bann for brown trout with Bann Valley Flies tungsten nymphs . We were making a short demo in Czech nymph fishing when I had a surprise take from a fresh run salmon. After 25 minutes and a lot of sweat, the fish we estimated to be around the 8lbs mark was netted and safely returned …and all on 5lb tippet and a JMC Elite 11.6ft 3/4weight rod.”
