[dropcap]A[/dropcap]rtist and illustrator, Andrej Krysov, was born in in the Kirov region of Russia, about a thousand kilometers east of Moscow. That is where he learned to fish for many different species as a young boy. Later Andrej graduated from Moscow University where he studied graphic art and began to marry two of his favorite pastimes, fishing and art. Now fly fishing for 12 years and counting, he frequently incorporates fly fishing into his pieces that never seem to waste a line and feature the anatomical precision of a seasoned veteran. Andrej currently resides in Kirov, Russia where he enjoys fly fishing, kayaking, water color painting and graphic design.
