Redington Rise Reel-
Redington sent us one of the reels to test recently and we were mightily impressed. Pricing aside, this is an impressive design with large arbor, quick line pick up, smooth and strong drag system, and excellent finish. Now place next to reels in it price class and it really impresses. At around 200 beans, it won’t break the bank and is backed by a veteran company with superb customer service. $189-$219

3-TAND Surgex Pliers-
We have been really digging these Surgex Pliers from the good folks at 3-TAND this fishing season. I love their light weight very much. I barely know they are there.
