[dropcap]I[/dropcap] love crab patterns and so do fish that live where crabs exist. A delectable meal full of protein, the crab is a hard morsel for most critters to pass up. This particular pattern, tied here by Jesse Males, is very simple to tie and effective on a number of species. This video displays the tying of a smaller size but scaling it up in size is simple. Color changes are simple as well. This pattern can be tied in brown, tan, olive or anything that gets your fancy. Different color legs can be incorporated as well. Loon tungsten powder can be used to create a faster sinking version as well. Simply add the powder to the step involving the the UV glue.
