If you are itching for a spring break to launch the bite, here is a chance to have an all-in and unforgettable fly fishing experience – April 14th, 15th, & 16th
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Sowbug Roundup is a three day fly tying and fly fishing show that is held in Mountain Home, Arkansas. It is sponsored by the North Arkansas Fly Fishers and is dedicated to encouraging more people, especially young people, to become involved in fly fishing. That is why they keep the entrance fee at $5.00 per person for all three days and kids under 12 free.
It will feature more than 100 North American and European fly tiers. Unique to this event is that attendees are encouraged and afforded the opportunity to get involved, ask questions, discover techniques not found in books or publications and socialize with the legends of our sport.
Among the tiers and demonstrators, you will rub elbows with Dave Whitlock, Davy Wotton, Duane Hada, and the TFO rods folks.
FYI: Mountain Home, Arkansas is ten hours form Atlanta, four from St. Louis, five from Kansas City and four from Memphis.
