Let the line sink almost all the way to the bottom and start retrieving – the buoyant foam head will keep your fly out of the weeds, but near the bottom where the fish are. As well, this is a great top-water pattern fished on a floating or intermediate line! This fly is a 4/0 with a medium head. Freshwater, saltwater, this fly is home just about anywhere large forage fish are available.
