Paul on cameras
“I once was in love with my cameras. Remember the Nikon F3 and F4? However, digital is so practical, especially for underwater work, that I reluctantly caved in. I despise the D40 but use it alot. I don’t like the D200 but use it every day. I had a D2h that was as close to love as I ever felt towards a digital camera. I also use a D90 Paul Vecsei, art, photographywhich I can’t stand but image quality is very good indeed.
Update: Okay, so now I use the D90 more than the D200 because of great high ASA performance. The D200 works like the human brain, the D90 needs tinkering, which I notice my electronic gadget friends seem to love but in no way is photographer friendly.
Mega update: Now have the D700 FX and it is indeed, almost built like a real camera and has nice image quality. At 12 Megs, files are so huge I spend all my time down-sizing images prior to posting or emailing. I guess many of you buying D600 and D800s are planning mural sized prints?”
