The IGFA’s certifying credentials are globally accepted. It’s authority: certify and examine scales up to a 100-pound capacity and certify release rules (new).
However, it’s greatest service is international angling rules, and within the intent of those rules, establish and certify world records, as well as be an active conservation force in the world sport fishing community.
