[dropcap]A[/dropcap] west coast friend emailed me a link to the following website – a vimeo called “Casting A Voice: Pipelines, Bitumen & Wild Fish” by Dimitri Gammer. It tells a story we all need to hear. What’s the future if we all sit by while the energy industry, lacking any sense of responsibility, risks destroying one of the finest salmon and steelhead fisheries in the world. Planned usage of the Skeena River corridor as part of Canada’s Northern Gateway Pipeline project puts the river in harms way. One spill could do it in.

Dimitri clearly depicts the value of the fishery that thousands, world wide, have come to fish and love.

Time for action. You in?

NOTE: If vimeo stutters – click on HD (bottom right) to turn that off.
