“Tom Brokaw once said ‘If fishing is a religion, fly fishing is high church’. In my opinion, no truer words have been spoken. Fly fishing does not waste time on those who have none; the pinnacle of our sport is reserved for those who have the patience and dedication necessary to unlock its amazing potential. Mr. Brokaw has been a regular parishioner of our ‘church’ for many years and has championed some of the most important and lasting initiatives that have made our sport what it is today. The AMFF’s Board of Trustees join me in honoring Tom Brokaw for his continued contributions to the sport of fly fishing.” – Cathi Comar, Executive Director of the American Museum of Fly Fishing.
