The Atlantic salmon is among the greatest game fish leapers and of the freshwater variety no equal

The tenacity of the Atlantic salmon is that of a hairless wolverine and, thus, one of the most sort after gamefish, albeit in alarming decline as a species worldwide.
The most bountiful population of Salmo salar in North America spawns in the Maritime Provinces of Canada, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. With Canada’s easternmost province, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Maritime provinces make up the Atlantic Canada region, the last bastion of wild Atlantic salmon.

Tie the Dirty Bomber alternate. The original version takes a long time. Newfoundlander Paul White created the original Dirty Bomber. The fly has earned a shout-out if you fish for salmon, brook trout, big Alaskan rainbows, or even largemouth bass or smallmouth bass.
