[dropcap]I[/dropcap] couldn’t resist posting this awesome pattern in the wake of the passing of the master musician, performer and visionary, Prince. It is a rad looking fly as well. Prince Nymphs have accounted for many of the trout I have caught over the years.
Tyer, Ryan Keyes explains: “This is a fun tie and really fun to fish. This is one of my favorite attractor patterns that I use. I have recently had success catching brookies in mountain streams and lakes within Colorado with this fly. This stone fly pattern is tied on an AFF S402 (down-eye, 2x-long, round-bend streamer/nymph hook).”
