[dropcap]R[/dropcap]uben Martin is a master of realistic patterns in addition to many more genres. This particular stonefly imitation (Austroperlidae) is a gem. Ruben demonstrates the entire process really clearly making the fly fairly easy to tie. Echoing some of the Czech Nymph nuances and stylings, this larger stonefly looks amazing in the box and in the water. Check out Ruben’s site for more great patterns.
