FOUNDRY DAY INFORMATION

On June 1st, 2024, more than 100 juried craftsmen and artists will showcase their creativity at the 36th Annual Foundry Day Arts & Crafts Festival. At this free event in the village of Boiling Springs – just outside of Carlisle – handmade jewelry, photography, fine art, pottery, furniture, decorative painting, leather work, enameling, woodworking, metalwork, doll sculptures, and fiber art will be among the unique treasures for sale.

Thom Glace, an award-winning watercolorist and one of the most famous [collectible] artists, is a highlight of any festival. His talent is unparalleled, and you’ll be thrilled to meet him. In addition to the 100 juried craftsmen, you will find food concessions along Third Street, including mouth-watering favorites and new offerings. Along with funnel cakes, gourmet sausages, crab cakes, fresh fruit, braided pretzels, apple dumplings and home-baked pies and cookies, attendees can indulge themselves with beef sandwiches, venison burgers, specialty teas, pulled pork, kettle corn and much more.

You will also enjoy live music while shopping and eating on Third Street. Times for entertainment will be posted on sandwich boards throughout the festival and on social media:

Neil Sunday worked out of our TCO Fly Shops Boiling Springs location shortly after we opened the store and is also the Head Trout for Relentless Fly Fishing. Neil also is a New York State licensed guide for steelhead on Lake Ontario tributaries. 
Neil’s fishing trips perfectly blend relaxation and excitement, focusing on enjoying the waters he knows so well. He’ll willingly share his expertise in fly fishing, including presenting dry flies to midge-sipping risers, ensuring a rewarding experience for novice and expert anglers. 
Neil leads the Stream Improvements Committee and has been a seven-year Board member for Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited. He organizes work parties on the Letort Spring Run to improve the habitat for wild trout.

Foundry Day honors the origins of the picturesque village of Boiling Springs when the lake powered the iron foundry operated in the late 1700s. Proceeds from Foundry Day are used to benefit arts and crafts in the local school district and community.Please, no pets permitted.
