Peter Perch was born in his parents 1870’s farm house in a small village close to the the Ijssel River in the Netherlands. From early on Peter spent his days fishing and studying water flora & fauna in the river or the canal system just behind his parent’s house, often taking specimens home in a bucket to study them and make drawing. Peter is a professional artist and illustrator. He works for a wide range of commercial clients but his true love is painting fish, fishing and wildlife related subjects.
