Crimping the barb and other cutting and plier tasks made easy
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his tool is not inexpensive, but it’s a Buck so it will be with you for a lifetime. I’ve owned a buck knife since boyhood. It’s been sharpened so many times it’s blade profile is completely different from the original. Too, the handle grip has been factory replaced at least twice.
Buck Knives, an American icon, calls this fishing tool Splizzors – as in scissors and pliers
The blades can be combined with many add-ons to make Splizzors even a more unique fishing tool. The Splizzors utilize edge to edge pressure 10X that of normal scissors and contain micro serrations to cut braided and high performance fishing line with ease. This unique design allows for efficient cutting, trimming, shearing, bending, crimping, and hook removal all with one exceptional tool.
