Orvis/Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions and Montana Fly brings jigs into 2018

This two-step video tip from Orvis/Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions now saves a lot of time and produces a “mo betta” fly that can get down and deep fast… and it’s legit fly fishing.

Rigging a get down deep “right now” fly required a lure style jigging hook. Yes, I know, not really fly fishing for purests, but the striper lads on the big lakes in the Southeast use that set up exclusively, but now I’m saved.

Montana Fly Company expands line of jig hooks, jig beads and jig head flies.

TUNGSTEN JIG BEADS, LUCENT four sizes (mm): 3.8, 3.3, 2.8, 2.4 blood red, purple, orange, rainbow, hot pink

MSRP: $7.00/25pc

TUNGSTEN JIG BEADS four sizes (mm) 3.8, 3.3, 2.7, 2.4 black nickel, chartreuse, copper, gold, hot orange, hot pink, silver MSRP: $7.00/25pc
