DUN_cover[dropcap]A[/dropcap] lady friend of ours, and fellow fly angler, sent us the link to a new online magazine called DUN. It’s for, about and written by women. It’s good and decideley feminine in its delivery as that relates to aesthetics and to some extent delivery, and that’s not bad guys. We read several stories and found the subjects very informative and refreshingly new territory. The copy isn’t New York Times caliber (whose is?), but better than just OK – far better than the blogsters’.

The effort that obviously went into this first issue had to be expensive and very time consuming. DUN takes readers to Australia to trout fish, Bolivia’s Amazon jungle to fish for dorado and just around the corner.

Several of the online-page flip PDF’s are not much more than blogs on steroids with little other than passing interest to even the most dedicated fly fishing enthusiast. DUN reaches out further than almost all but a few of the page-flipper magazines, and is to be heartily commended for that and welcomed into the community of online fishing publications.

Our recommendation. Sign up, you’ll be glad you did. Click here visit the FREE DUN magazine […]
