[dropcap]W[/dropcap]eekend celebration of the oceans and the need to conserve marine life — plus a film festival will highlight Marineland’s impressive history as a leader in underwater cinematography. Friday at 7 p.m., marine artist Guy Harvey and film producer George Schellenger introduce their new film Tiger Shark Express at the Flagler Auditorium in Palm Coast. Saturday at 11 a.m., PBS host of Jonathan’s Big Blue World, Jonathan Bird, will meet and great visitors at Marineland’s Whitney Auditorium before showing the premiere episode from the TV series. At 2 p.m., the film “Turtles: the Incredible Journey” will be shown. At 5 p.m., there’s a double feature featuring two films shot at Marineland — Revenge of the Creature (1955), the film debut of a young actor named Clint Eastwood; and ZAAT, a 1971 film about a mad scientist who transforms himself into an aquatic killer.
