Omnispool Switchbox is a do-it-yourself line management system
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]ccasionally, something comes along in our fly fishing world that solves a problem we didn’t know we had. The guy or gal who thought this up should be profiled as genius of the year. The product’s name, Omnispool Switchbox, has no ad agency glitter, but it sure solved that problem we now know we had.
At around a $100 per, flylines “don’t get no respect.” Most of us don’t change-out lines when extreme new conditions call just for that. Why? Because to do so you need a partner, it’s a slow process; putting them back on the spools they came in usually leaves them a twisted mess, and spare spools are expensive.
A unique feature of the product is you can buy it in parts – as you’ll see in the following video.
