Stacking EP Fibers for the perfect baitfish, and tying off ribbing (and other materials) a better way

By Skip Clement

The Tip, stacking synthetic EP Fibers, is not quite a tip, but it is a good baitfish fly and shows off a great way to make full coverage of the hook shank by advantaging the uniqueness of Enrico Puglisi‘s fibers. The fly, a generic baitfish, is one that can serve most trout-fisher’s needs when the mykiss get picky and baitfish is something in every saltwater fly fisher must have in his or her fly collection.

The Tactic is another from the most prolific tyer on the planet, Denmark’s Hans Weilenmann, except maybe Argentina’s Ruben Martin.
