How to Make a Double Spey Cast with a Single-Handed Rod

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen you’re standing in a river, with the current moving right to left (for a right-hand caster), it can be difficult to cast when there are obstructions behind you. The Circle-Spey Cast, also known as the Snap-T, helps you to move your line upstream so you can execute a good roll-cast.

The roll cast is an excellent way to present streamers and an effective way to nymph.
