[dropcap]T[/dropcap]im Flagler’s Tightline Productions provides another “does catch fish” fly that meets with our keep it simple requirement. The Stumpbuster is a high, colored water streamer fished deep. The color, hook size, cone head and tail length can all be varied.
The Stumpbuster, tied on different size hooks, can catch just about anything that swims.
This fly is perfectly suited for being tied on tubes. You can reorient the hook and have it face up, and you can use many different hook styles and sizes.
