[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ly high above Lake Iliamna, Alaska, following the crew of the Alaska Salmon Program as they conduct sockeye salmon surveys during one of the largest migrations in recent history. This film is the brainchild of Jason Ching, a photographer and filmmaker who works as a research technician for the University of Washington’s Alaska Salmon Program. He spends each summer based out of remote research stations in Southwest Alaska collecting data related to sockeye salmon ecology. Most of this amazing footage is from rivers and streams along the northeastern part of Lake Iliamna in August of 2015. Feast your eyes…
