[dropcap]D[/dropcap]oug McKnight designed this fly as a hybrid crab/shrimp imitation. As he explains in this simple video, he likes to use it when bonefishing in an area where there is a chance of finding permit as well. It is a stellar looking little tropical pattern that I look forward to testing on the flats of New England as well for stripers. The Crimp is easy to tie and has success written all over it.
