Our angling, hunting, and wilderness experiences are in jeopardy, as are the air we breathe and the water we drink

The National Parks Foundation urges us to stand up and oppose destructive trends that threaten public lands and national parks.

The oddest religiosity

In the US, gullible Evangelicals and other Christians worship an invisible God, yet their preachers and priests exhort them to vote for a corrupt politician who promises to destroy visible Nature with the alarming result of disobeying the very God they worship.

Sycophantic MAGA legislators tell you it’s energy independence

“ . . .The wilderness idea is a resource in itself. Being an intangible and spiritual resource, it will seem mystical to the [seemingly] practical-minded- but then anything that cannot be moved by a bulldozer is likely to seem mystical to them.” — Wallace Stegner

The trait of the sycophantic legislator has persisted throughout history, and now they dominate our governance along with a highly politicized SCOTUS.

For decades, political greed in the United States has aimed to sell off public lands, but a cautious electorate has often blocked these efforts. Now, we have an administration that indulges in theatrical outbursts over imaginary grievances and needs, driven by ignorance and greed, that is making significant strides in damaging America.

America’s invaluable heritage: its public lands

We need smarter people in governance, and getting rid of Roberts’ Citizens United and additional rulings in support of it is a good start.
Public lands and national parks are essential to the American identity. If we lose or neglect these treasures, we risk diminishing our nation’s pride and stature. Even those who will never visit a national park, camp on BLM land, or experience the beauty of a national forest still gain spiritual and psychological benefits, acting as their “geography of hope.”

Stealing isn’t okay with most of us

If our American treasures are stolen from us, something essential to who we are as a people will be lost. Once environmentally ruined, pristine landscapes shaped over eons—rich in flora and fauna, hunting grounds, and fisheries—cannot be restored; they are gone forever.

Guided by corruption isn’t okay either

MAGA and MEGA-rich seek only more money, power, and authority—a Sharia-like white Christian theocracy diametrically opposed to our First Amendment : “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. “. .  . We find ourselves on a destructive path toward submission to unconstitutional lawlessness, and it does not bode well for America.” —TJ Douglas
“Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” — Winston Churchill.

Join the National Parks Foundation, and together we can vote out the con men, traitors, sycophants, and reestablish America’s values.

Watch what’s at stake. Do you really want to sit back and let the MAGAs and MEGA-rich take this from you?
