Eric Johnson, owner of Westport Outfitters said he was particularly impressed with the new products Cheeky Fly Fishing produces to push the limits of the sport as well as a guide program which has fishing experts around the globe testing the manufacturer’s products. “Cheeky is big enough to compete with more established manufacturers, but much more nimble and responsive when it comes to working with its customers and innovating within the fly fishing industry,” Johnson said in the statement. “As our relationship evolves, we hope to play a larger role in providing feedback about their products based on our own personal experience.”
The kickoff event will include a barbecue, special deals, prizes, demos of all the reels and a chance to meet the founders of the company as well as some of its professional staff from around the country.
