Earlier this week, Nehl Horton resigned from his role as President of the organization.
Nehl was elected as the IGFA’s 7th President in September 2017 and spent the last two years modernizing the organization’s business operations and implementing a new strategic plan.
With Nehl’s resignation, the IGFA Executive Committee has appointed Jason Schratwieser as the Acting President of the organization. Nehl has served as the IGFA’s Conservation Director since he was hired in 2003. He will serve as the Acting President until the annual IGFA Board of Trustees meeting in January 2020, at which time the full board will vote to determine the future leadership of the organization.
