I went north to fish with Andrew Derr, Fly Life’s field editor; tackling some of his “hidden” spots for blues and a few stripers still showing up on the right tides, and Don Reed, fly tying editor, headed west for some “long overdue” trout fly fishing.
However, the show, we’ve been told, had a great deal more energy than usual and there was a lot of order taking going on.
