[dropcap]R[/dropcap]uben Martin is an innovative tyer who seems to invent or adapt simple and effective techniques to create patterns that are accessible to the average tyer. This Argentinian version of his pancora crab pattern is no different. There are some great techniques on display in this video, namely some of the burning and gluing steps that create really lifelike textures and details. I have been a fan of Ruben’s approach to tying for sometime. If you haven’t checked out his videos, there are a ton of informative and enlightening offerings on his YouTube channel.
