RIO’s InTouch series of fly lines are built with an ultra-low stretch core, called “ConnectCore.” These lines have 6% stretch – compared to regular lines that have about 30% stretch. That means your average 100-foot long InTouch fly line, will only stretch out to 106 -feet before breaking. Most other lines will stretch to about 130-feet before breaking – that’s too much stretch and costs the angler control.
Such low stretch in a fly line makes a huge difference in casting and fishing – explosive casting distance, more intuitive timing, lightning-fast hook sets, more control when playing a fish, and a supernatural ability to detect even the softest takes.
RIO has a tremendous range of fly lines built with this technology. From floating lines to sink tips to full sinking lines. Check out our selection here, and upgrade to InTouch.
